Can someone help me with solving a system of equations?
This is the problem;
3x - y = -1
2x + 3y = -30
Please show me how to do this, step by step!

3x - y = 1
2x + 3y = - 30
multyply 2 by the top line as its X
multiply 3 by bottom as its x
6x - 2y = 2
6x+6y=-90
change the signs of the bottom line
making it all
6x - 2y = 2
-6x - 6y = -90
cancel of the 6s since they cancel
-8y= - 88
-y = - 11
y = 11
sub 11 for y
6x - 2(11) = 2
6x - 22 = 2
6x = 22 + 2
6x = 24
x = 4
