pontiac g5 cold air intake recommendations.?
hey guys i currently have a 2008 pontiac g5 and i want to start doing slight beneficial upgrades such as adding a cold air intake. and i need some good recommendations on what brand. my price range is any where from 75 to 150 dollars. Also is there a difference between different types of intakes because arn't they all shaped the same? thanks for your help guys.

it would give you a little bit more power and make it sound a lot better. if you get an intake make sure you get a cold air intake they are way better than the short ram intake. and for the exhaust if you get the entire thing starting from the headers to the end it will help a lot and make it sound deeper. how that helps oh and if your not always flooring it you will get better gas mileage because it makes your car breathe better.

No they all are shape the same cause of different engine configurations..And $75 ti $150 may get u a used one but not a one for ur car...installed count on $400 or more..remember ur car is still under warranty and any modifications u add can void ur warranty..like programming chargers, trans mods..

150 bucks you can make your own..or just get a k&n air filter just as good except the cai looks fancy underhood. you can make your own cai for about 45 ( depending on if you use k&n air filter or a cheap one ) and with the remaining money buy some pullies. check street legal performance ( google the name ) they make alot of gm aftermarket.
