I need to get one of my horses a winter blanket and I can't pick witch one. Of these two what one is the best?

Update 2:

I actually have the second blanket and I LOVE it, it with stands rough play between two 16.2 hh thoroughbreds and my horse is always toasty warm underneath it, enough for him to share some of his warmth with me :)

the first one is defiantly easier to put on the horse

this one in the link below is good warmth wise

but from the two above i would have to go with the 1st one

The first one is only 600 denier and won't hold up very well to hard play. My boys are hard on blankets, and a 600 d just won't do.

The 1200 denier will last you so much longer. I have 2 sheets and 3 blankets that the boys have worn now for 5 years, and there is not so much as a scratch on them!

I love these Schneider's sheets and blankets.

    The first one!

I would go for the second one it loooks warmer, depends on how cold it gets where you live and if your horse has a nice winter coat or not but i would go for the second one.

Well, 1200D will stand up to harder play but what part of the country do you live in 400g of fill is an aweful lot of insulation.

If I were you I would go with the second blanket... My horse brakes blankets buckles every year, and this one looks sturdy... i might even try it!... it also looks warmer!!

I would go with the second one for durability and warmth.
