    Netgear:-

The Netgear WGR614 is a standard entry-level 802.11g wireless router. Folks often choose this model for its sleek design. The WGR614 also has fared well in tests of wireless signal strength, having a potentially longer range than other products in this category. Unfortuantely, some reliability and technical support issues may also exist with this product.

The Netgear WGR614 contains the features one would expect from an entry-level wireless router. It will support up to 54 Mbps bandwidth as long as all devices connected support 802.11g. Expect a noticeable drop in performance across the whole network if connecting any 802.11b devices to the WGR614.

For security, the WGR514 offers the Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall together with Network Address Translation (NAT) support. It also includes some support for content filtering (e.g., blocking inappropriate Web sites from being accessed).

Netgear has revised the WGR614 several times since its introduction. Be sure to acquire a recent one (version 5 or higher) for best results.

    Linksys:-

The Linksys wireless router will give you the ability to create a home network that will allow everyone in your family to have access to all your devices at the same time. This is perfect for a family with a number of computer users in your home. Your children can connect to the Internet for research for their school work and use the printer when they have to print out a paper. And all of this can be done without interrupting the work that you have to accomplish on your network as well. There will be no more waiting for a turn on the family computer and no more fights over the time that is spent on the network.

When looking for your Linksys wireless router, pay careful attention to the security features on your device. It is important that when you create your wireless network that you have the necessary protection to keep all of your information safe and secure from outside intruders.

The speed of your Linksys wireless router is an important consideration when you are choosing your device. Choose the wireless router with the highest speed within your price range. You will find that you have a much better experience for all of the devices in your home.

I suggest u to go for Netgear router.

I recommend Linksys for all networking equipment. I used to have a D-Link but it got hacked. Linksys offers 24/7 technical support for all of your troubles with their equipment. All Linksys routers have a standard interface so upgrading from model to model is a breeze. All Linksys routers feature a wide set of features for all your security and routing needs.
