Which is your favourite John Barry film score or individual piece of music?

I agree - he's a wonderful composer. He's won five oscars though, so he's had a fair amount of recognition compared to Ennio Morricone for instance, who has never won an oscar. I love his work on the early Bond films, especially 'You Only Live Twice', but my favourites are his melancholy score for Midnight Cowboy, and the epic soundtrack he composed for Dances With Wolves, which was essential in making that film into the frontier epic it became.
