on Christmas night my sister in law assalted me! should I report?

I talk back to her and even knowing that i got lyme disease( I cannot walk well and I loose balance very easily)she pushed me , I fell and she kicked me couple of times!

    That was a horrible thing for her to do, but it sounds like you were having a fight and it was in the heat of the moment. Was your husband present at the time? If not maybe you should tell him and get him to tell his sister that it was going too far. And in future I should avoid being alone with her. Make sure that your husband or someone else is present.

    I do not think reporting her would be advisable as it will probably create bad feeling in the family. It might even upset your husband, who is probably fond of his sister. Besides, if you were having a row at the time you might have difficultly getting the police to do anything, they are always reluctant to get involved in family disputes.

    If nobody was there when it happened filing anything would end up as she said/she said. You can always report and not press charges. Make sure your husband knows the whole story, make sure everyone understands what happened (they may set her straight). She is probably a person who beats children too.

    i would report her. That is so mean and cruel what she did. I hope that you are okay, and that she gets in trouble for what she did.
