on Christmas eve when we hosted a party my sister in law assalted me,should I report her?

we had an argument and i talked back to her, even knowing that i got lyme disease (i cannot walk well and i loose balance very easily) she pushed me and kicked me when i was on the floor!

my concern is about his ( my man ) family , I don't want them to hate me !

but was really awfull when I told her:

I told you were my friend !

she look at me with no hesitation and said: I never was your friend!

that really hurt!

Make an police report NOW.If she did that she'll do more the next time and if his family doesn't understand and they were there, the heck with all of them.If a stranger did that wouldn't you call the cops? She's no different Have her arrested.

yeah sharda its really hurts when u face such a behaviour in an unexpected way, by an unexpected person. but look, family matters r very sensitive nd one very impotent thing i want to say here that every person does anything by a viewpoint of correctness on his/her side. i m telling abt the reason of ur in-law's behaviour. its very important. by the way its an offence and u can report it but i suggest u not to do so. let her go, say nothing to her. if u were not wrong let her to realize it. till then u can keep ur relation on a halt.

If you don't make a stand against her then you'll never gain her respect and will be walked over your entire life. The best thing to do might be call her out about the assault in front of her family.

You and your husband should confront her together. Demand an apology and a promise to never touch you again. If she refuses, tell her that you will be going to the police. You shouldn't have to be afraid of her. Either she apologizes and makes things right, or she can work things out with a judge.

They could turn against you if you report her. It's better just to stay away from her
