left car speakers dont work?

My speakers on the left side the front and back dont work. Does anyone know what can be causing it. I checked the wires on both and they are connected. They both stopped working at the same time...

I agree also you could check and see if the wires are disconnected on the speakers. If the tweeter works then the fade should be fine, but i would check it in case. It wouldn't hurt to check all the speaker connections if you have the time to do it.

If theyre wired to either an amp or your radio u could of blown a channel. Or check to make sure no wire is open anywhere causin it to short out.

most likely you have a short in it. if your running your music through an ipod or mp3 and your using the aux cord then it might be that cause that happend to me once and thats hard to fix so if thats it i would upgrade to where you use a direct connection with a usb cord
