amp it would depend on what you want to go with and what kind of prices you can find. hifonics isnt the best, but its 1 of the best amps in the lower price range. you want an amp that is around 1500rms @2ohm, or you might be able to find a comp amp that puts out 1500rms@.5ohm.

if your not really picky about name brands but would like to save money, go for GOOD KNOWN brand like, HIFONICS , for about $350 you can get a 2600 RMS class D mono Block HIFONCS amp( BXI2610D). the Subs for around 400 THE PAIR, if you get some Kicker CVX 12" or 15" 1000 RMS each.. and a good 0 gauge amp kit from Stinger for about $85. thats about $815. You have some money left over to make yourself a custom box and your system will sound loud *** hell with this set up.

Also something else you need to know about the L7 and L5 series of subs from Kicker, they both have mechanical issues. I would highly suggest that you look into a different sub.

I will suggest that you look into Orion HCCA 12.2. You will only need 1 of these beasts, unless you really like the idea of killing your ears. Sonic electronix has them for $389.99, then look at the Power Acoustik BAMF 5500/1 which will give you 3200 watts rms @ 1 OHM. Then you will need to go to Orion's website and click on subwoofers (at the top of the screen), scroll down to the bottom of the sub woofer page and click on HCCA product lines, click on the sub woofer enclosure link, scroll down select HCCA 12.2 enclosure, the input your zip code and you will get a listing of all authorized Orion dealers that carry the HCCA enclosure.

u want bass bad *** basss..... eff mtx,memphisand , all that swapmeet crap... if u want nice deep bass get a jl 1000/1 amp and a w7.. if u want hard *** bass go with 2 15 L7 kickers with a monoblock 2000 watt hifonics amp u wont be disapointed
