Is this a good setup?

Question

2 12 inch JL audio W3V2s.  
JL Audio 500/1 amp.

If I do this what gauge wire should I use?

Also is this a good enough box to put the subs in?

use  4 gauge power wiring.
 that box will be fine.

if thats a good setup would depend on the price. you could be overpaying.

is that just the box your looking at? that link was to a box and 2 12" w3v3 subs. the w3v3 subs are better than w3v2, but you would want a bigger amp. the v3's are 500rms, the v2's are only 300rms.

it will be a little harder to find, but look for the jl dual high output box. its the best box you could put the w3's in.
