What to wear for a holiday in Rome, end of May?
Any tips on what woman can wear while at Rome. Heard that sneaker and jeans are a strict no-no. We will be seeing Rome on 'foot'. Thanks.

Jeans is not a problem, lots of women wear jeans in Rome.
Sneakers if your traveling on foot is probably the best possible thing to wear.
Rome is not a very high heal friendly city, and open shoes will get uncomfortable after a half day of walking on stone streets.
But hey, don't take my word for it, use google street, go to Rome and see for yourself what people are wearing.

Just wear what you usually wear. Jeans and sneakers are fine, although you will see that many young italian women strictly wear designer clothes. Beware though that the temperatures could get quite high, so you might want something shorter.

If you plan to enter a church, be sure that your shoulders and knees are covered.
