Denon receiver avr 1708 , I cant get any sound?
It was working fine earlier . I has just listened to a cd and when the next cd came there was no sound. I had not touched anything, I tried another cd player and also no sound , I can get the radio to work but that is it .
Any suggestions ? The receiver is only about 9 months old .

Might be something simple, but most receivers have a way of turning the speakers off w/o turning the unit off. Check that. You may have hit the mute button or that switch.

Your AV receiver can give output upto 7.1 which is called THX. Just you have to configure your receiver, using the manual of it. Also check whether the HDMI cable is of version 1.4
