Can i please have some help with Iago's psychological character?

I need to prove how Iago is a madman and psychopath, and has mental instability...

How does this tie in with freud's theory?

    I just watched the very beginning of Othello and just gave it up. I couldn't get past an award winning British actor in black face. All I know is Lago certainly had it in for Othello and he was going to get him. Othello thought him a friend but he was constantly scheming to cause Othello harm.
