All my e-mails were deleted, anything I can do?

I went on vacation for two weeks and didn't check my email at all, I come back and I can't log into my account, so I reset my password. I look in my inbox and only have 23 unread emails, normally I get about 10 a day, so this really surprised me. Then I look closer and find that all my e-mails in my inbox have been deleted, anything from before July 15. Everything that are in personal folders are still there, but everything else is gone. Is there any way that I can get these e-mails back? The inbox had 1600+ in it, and some of them were very important. Anything I can do or are they gone forever?

All I can think of is checking the trash can in your email to see if they went there somehow. Also, you may want to try to check through all the folders on your email account to see if the messages were accidentally moved. I hope you can find those messages!

When Yahoo is updating services or scheduled maintenance sometimes you may experience various errors, connection issues or latency. However, it is temporary. We recommend that you give it another try. Don’t worry; nothing will happen to your account or any of your messages. If you find this is not the case contact the Yahoo Mail Group, see form. hope it helps.
