Can you convert a Microsoft Word Document to a Microsoft Works Word Processor document?

    Yes. Do this:

    In versions of Word prior to Word 2007, possibly Word 2010 as well

    1. Click the File->Save As menu item.

    2. Set the Save as Type list box to Works 6.0-9.0 Document (may vary, but always Works).

    3. Save the file. It will save as a .wps document.

    In Word 2007:

    1. Click the round Office button in the upper left corner of the window.

    2. Click the Save As->Other Formats menu item.

    3. Continue as in Step 2, above.

    Save As. Select Works 6.0-9.0 or Works 7.0.
