best food dehydrator for small family?
wanting to do produce from family fruit and vegetable garden and want to know which dehydrator is best for australia

Nesco products are very good, have one myself and love it

The Nesco FD 75 is one of the best selling dehydrators, gets 4+ star reviews out of 5 and has a great price at less than $60.

Ditto on the Nesco products but you can dry things in the oven pretty easily. I usually preheat the oven to it's lowest setting and shut it off. Put the items to be dried on sheet pans with cooling racks, put the items on the racks. This encourages air flow all around the items. Then turn your oven light on. The oven light will produce just enough heat to dry the items. Depending on what you're drying, it could take a couple days. Rotate the trays a couple times a day.
