Does getting your bellybutton pierced hurt?
Ok so I have been wanting to get my nose pierced since I was in 10th grade but I have always chickened out the day of "/ I know I'm lame, whatever! haha...so I'm 18 now and I think a nose piercing might be a little bold for me and have decided a bellybutton piercing would look a lot better. So my question is.. does it hurt? I have a really high pain tolerance! Oh and how long does it take to heal and around how much is it? I would be going to a tattoo shop..for sanitary reasons :)

If you really want something pierced you shouldn't think about the pain, because the pain is only a minor part that you soon forget about. Getting pretty much anything pierced hurts a lot less than getting pinched, most of it is just the thought of a needle going through you. Just channel that all out and try and have an entertaining conversation with the piercer to calm yourself.
It takes about 6 weeks to heal and depending on where you go, most places I think will pierce with jewelry and all for around 10, anything above 15 is a rip-off.
