a cool metal band that I don't see mentioned here much?
The band is Genghis Tron, and I would have expected to hear mention of them a bit more than I do, because they do offer a fairly unique mix of influences in the metal world. Though some would call them "cybergrind", they really do a lot more than just grindcore with electronics. Their latest album has all kinds of softer, more atmospheric material, and even their heavier stuff isn't that "grindy"

So, what do you think of them?
BQ: What non-industrial metal bands make the best use of electronics in their music?

Unique. I like it.
BQ - Child Abuse is like metal without guitars. Good stuff. ....And Oceans/Havoc Nation are excellent. Kovenant, Enslaved, Nokturnal Mortum, Abigail Williams are also great.

I have not heard anything like this and my ears are happy.
Love Metal, love Electronic music. A good combo here.
BA: Well you could look at any band that is symphonic in some way since keyboards are used here. I think that Emperor is notable because Black Metal is very raw naturally but they stood out by using keyboards to make their music more atmospheric. Nightwish has an excellent keyboardist and the sound plays a vital role in their music.
