Okay so I really like a guy but he doesn't seem interested in me more then a friend... I don't know why either... I'm not bad looking and I'm the closes girl his age... what's up? He told his dad that he was interested in me at this time.. what is that supposed to mean will he be interested later?

In the Bible Belt girls don't make the 1st move... EVER and also he knows how I feel already that's why he told his dad that he wasn't interested and I am loving being his friend but I was hoping at some point it would be more....

He's just confused! I mean, he is a boy! haha
Just be forward but not too forward. I mean you're already not together, so you really can't get anymore not together than you already are. Just try to find some time when you're alone to confront him about the situation!

He's probably afraid of telling you how he feels.I get stuck telling people how I feel sometimes, and I act like a jerk because I can't get my thoughts straight.
If he just wants to be friends,then just be friends, it'll be his loss. Not yours.
