When lacerations are all the same type (simple, intermediate, complex) and in the same anatomic grouping (location) you add up the lengths. So 1 + 3 + 2 = 6. So 12014 is for a simple repair of face, (which is what cheek falls under) ears, eyelids, lips and or mucous membranes for 5.1 cm- 7.5cm. 6 cm falls in that range, so that is the correct code.
