Why does my conputer load very slow?

You probably need to clear some space. Try deleting things you no longer need.

Too much memory or u caught a computer virus

Go to Start - Programs - accessories - system tools - disc defragmentor.

Check how much free space you have. If you have a lot of programs on your computer it will slow it down due to not having enough memory to successfully run it smoothly. You should delete unecessary files from your computer that take up lots of space. After you clean out the stuff you do not use, run the defragmentor. That should help. I also use www.ccleaner.com it safely removes unecessary files like old internet pages and junk that we don't use and makes the computer faster.

Above all it might be a virus or spyware of some type if it does not get faster after this. You can buy good protection at your local electronics mart like Norton or AVAST. There are online free ones, but with certain virus they will not allow you to download removal kits.

And if you don't have a virus a last resort would be to take it to a computer tech and have them add a bigger hard drive and more Ram- The ram will make it faster and more memory will allow you to save a lot of stuff without it slowing down.
