What's Your Favorite Fairytale?

I'm just curious as to what are some people's favorite fairytales. Personally my favorite is Briar-Rose but I also like King Thrushbeard.

    Pandora's Box.

That's not really a fairytale, is it?

It's more of a, "this is what will happen if you go through your father's things, kids" moral type story. Personally I like the idea of a docile wife that unwittingly unleashes evil onto the world.

There's one story I recollect. A boy was being cared for by way of an unpleasant dwarf and at his delivery she had swron an oath to the elf king that he would marry the daught for peace amongst people and dwarfs. The dwarf tricked him to enter a cave where he was once slowly turning to a dwarf. He killed the guards and prisoners looking to get him and confronted the king and the unpleasant daughter. He eventually escaped and met his start mother. I continually do not forget it for the strange illistratiosn in the book.

    Ariel (That's a fairytale, right?)

Beauty and the Beast was really good too!

    I hate romance. Go figure.
