I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch, are you able to change the background?
are you able to change the background behind the apps? my friends dad has a 2nd generation iPod touch and his background is a pattern. but i never got to ask how! *forgot >.<* and i tried looking it up but i didnt get a good answer. So.. can you? if so what do u need to do ? ^-^ thanks for da help :P

You need to either jailbreak your current firmware and use cydia to do it. Or you can upgrade to the 4.0 firmware. I have a 2nd gen iPod and both work for me.

in case you study the bottom of the web page on the apple information superhighway web site it say's that the ios 4 is nicely matched with ipod second and third gen notwithstanding it also say's that some good factors at the instantaneous are not nicely matched with particular instruments....
