Isn't religion like a beautifully designed rug?
That looks so pretty on the outside and so many people marvel at it's outsude beauty.
Yet dirt and filth is constantly been swept underneath this rug. And no matter how beautiful the rug may look on the outside, it doesn't change the fact that it contains filth and dirt at it's very core. But yet people go ahead praising it's outer beauty anyway and ignoring what lies underneath.
Do you agree?

Not to mention how quickly it unravels due to an inherently flawed design.
Cool metaphor...

no, but its how you view it; a rug can be beautiful but it will not serve its purpose if it stays beautiful,
it will became a rug only after taking all the dirt and filth which belongs to others including you because
you always step on it yet you say a rug is filthy..its the same as religion..so now you see we are minds
apart when we view things,

More like a beautifully designed drug*.
It messes up your thinking, makes you feel happy and then when you realize its effects are only temporary, you take more and more of it to keep you high, all the while wrecking your family life, social life and ultimately, dying and not going to either heaven nor hell.

Also, when you pull at the right place, the whole thing unravels.
