Deists & Theists, do you believe in the concept of a "soul mate" and if so what does it mean to you?

    Yes, I stupidly believe in this concept, it is the reason why even though I been asked many times I have never married!

    "soul mate", what does that even mean? With all of the constant rearranging of people in relationships and marriages its very hard to believe that any one is anyone elses "soul mate". I think that the idea of a soul mates is absolutely ridiculous.Is there some match maker on a cloud in the heavens somewhere playing cupid and matching up certain individuals with their "soul mate" or something? Not likely.

    No, I believe we have many potential "soul mates" but the one we end up with has a lot to do with chance and fortune.

    Such a "belief" isn't exclusive to the delusional, atheists can believe in a soul mate too.

    yes I believe in soul mates. It means someone you are compatible with, share everything in common, think alike, can't live without them.
