How do I select specific people to be the only ones that can see me online on Facebook?
In regards to the live chat / instant message service

Go into your chat and on the top left there will be something that says "Friend lists". you click make a new friend list, then just add the people you want to it. you can then go offline to everyone except those people, offline to just those people, etc.

You don't. Either your online and available to chat to everyone or your offline to everyone. I wish it were different.
