He is 19 and I am 16?

Yep so im 16 he is 19. Been together for about 3 months. My actual question is who can get us in trouble? My parents are totally fine with us, his parents are fine. Can someone else lets say who does not like us being together get us in trouble since he is an adult and im a minor?

Update:

well yes I know he can.. but im wondering if some random person can go to the police and get us in trouble. or does it have to be like my parents who could press charges

Update 2:

why until I turn 17?

Update 3:

in california

This largely depends on the laws of your respective state regarding activity between a minor and an adult. For example, in some states it is illegal for an adult to transport a minor across state lines without parental consent. The age of consent in states can also vary. Whether or not trouble ensues also depends on the level of physical relationship between you and your boyfriend. Finally, remember that probable cause and proof of wrongdoing must be established before any charges could be pressed from anyone. For example, simple rumor won't hold weight whereas evidence of activity such as contraceptives might. As for the people that could cause trouble, I should think parents, teachers, or law enforcement officers could potentially raise questions if they observe what could be deemed inappropriate activity.

He can get in trouble because he's over 18 and you're under 18.
