Brown Spotting means Pregnancy?

So I had my period around early April, starting the 7th which is not when I usually have my period (usually more towards the 20th). I had sex with my boyfriend the 16th and 17th and I just got brown spotting this past Saturday. It only lasted a day and now I'm getting cramps. Does this mean I'm pregnant?

    Take a pregnancy test to be sure.
