How many years of college is required to a rapper?
I am doing a Math-Report and I was assigned the career: rapper. I was asked to include: 1. How many years of college is required to be a rapper( and if any, what area do you get a degree in)? 2. Do you need a college degree? 3. Is Math involved in being a rapper? 4. Are there any certifications or trainings that are required to become a rapper? Thanks so much!

1. No you do not go to college to be a rapper. But you do go if you want to be a producer.
2. No college degrees, but a degree in music can help you.
3. Yes math is involved, mainly in selling your mixtapes and stuff like that. But soon your manager is going to do that.
4. No

1. How many years of college is required to be a rapper (and if any, what area do you get a degree in)?
Zero. There is no school required to be a rapper, however to be successful and good at rapping/writing you must know a lot of about the English language, and learn to use lots of words correctly in order to perfect verbal flow while rapping, and interesting patterns of rhythm while writing.
2. Do you need a college degree?
You don't NEED any school, but being intelligent, reading, and a thirst for knowledge is what makes a truly great rapper.
3. Is Math involved in being a rapper?
No. Once you start to get a career going and start doing shows, money may become something you need to worry about, but no math is actually involved in writing lyrics/rapping.
4. Are there any certifications or trainings that are required to become a rapper?
Again, no, but being a master of the English language is extremely helpful.

2. No
3. To count your money and manage your finances. But we all learn that sh*t in grade school.
4. Not really, you do need to practice though, nobody starts at the top.

Training or education is not required. All you need is talent to make up sayings/poetry/lines and an ability to stick to a rhythmic beat. However, a degree in music would be a great background and give you credibility with people who think that a degree means something in the field that your working in.

1. None.
2. No.
3. Yes. You need to have a flow that mathematically matches the beat, and there's a lot of math in the bars/lines. rhymes have to be an even number of bars, preferrably, 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, or any other multiple of 4. Beats must be in 4/4 tempo or it could sound weird.
4. Yes, you need to practice your lyrical, delivery, and flowing skill.

No you could drive you to wait school if you do not desire to. However, I feel you'll be able to uncover that school is a exceptional position to discover your pursuits and meet plenty of well humans. If your curiosity is track then take as many track guides as you'll be able to or contain your self in a few track movements past the school room. My wager is that you've got plenty to present others you could meet in school and that there's a lot you'll be able to be trained and enjoy from others too. My advice is to deliver it a shot. You've not anything to lose by way of going to school and possibly you could have plenty to acquire.
