Y&R Fans Maura West Is Being Replaced As Diane Jenkins?

Nope GT would not make an excellent Diane, again shes too young for the part. MW is 39, GT is 37. If they're going to fix Diane they either need to bring Alexis Donelly or Susan Walters back, if they cant or wont do that, then they need to cast someone who is 45-52, slim and has brown hair. Personally I think Susan Lucci would make an excellent Diane recast.

Gina Tognoni would make an excellent Victoria, Chloe or even Heather.

I like Maura West & think it's a shame the Y&R writers backed her character into a corner. One way way to change character direction is to have someone else play the part. If that is indeed the case then I think Gina is an excellent actress to play the part.

I truly love all the OLTL actors but I think Gina Tognoni (Kelly Cramer) and Michael Easton (John McBain) are two people who ought to be scooped right up by other soaps.

I'm bummed!!! Maura West is a great actress! The Y&R writers did a bad job with her storyline. I really hate that they let her go.... That was a real slap in her face and it's Y&R's loss. Guess we'll have to see how GinaTognoni turns out...I think they chose someone new because ALOT of people on the CBS Daytime site didn't like Maura with Nick.

I am cautiously optimistic. I think that Gina is a too young for the role but I can get used to that. I have always liked Gina's acting so I'm going to root for her and give her a fair shot.

Not sure if i will like this new actress cause i have never seen her act. I hate that Maura is leaving.

You know I never could get use to the actress Maura in this part so I'm not sad at all that she was let go, and maybe the new actress will work better in this part

How about replacing someone who NEEDS to be replaced... like Heather!
