What are some good, inexpensive cameras?

I want to get a good camera, preferably under $150, what are some good camera choices? Thanks!! (:

Wow! Just an incredible little Nikon COOLPIX S3100 camera. This is one that the scene settings actually work! Took very acceptable pix in low light, 720 video is great. So far I've owned a Panasonic Lumix, a Fuji S70 and a Casio. This is by far the best.

There is no such thing. Under that price when, not if, it breaks it's like an old cell phone, you trash and replace - there is no repair. As long as you are aware that most cameras under this price aren't worth the paper their warranty is printed on you'll understand when it quits working, probably just a couple of months after the warranty is up.
