When on E.I., if you report other earnings (eg. vacation,termination,severance),what will happen?
Will the government deduct this from your e.i.?

Simple answer is yes, those amounts are deducted from your EI. Since those amounts are usually paid on termination, it results in a longer waiting period before your EI starts.
Don't quote me on the numbers, it may have changed over the years, but I believe that any payout is converted t weeks at your normal pay, and that number of weeks extra waiting period are added on. So if you received 2 weeks vacation and 2 weeks severance, you will have to wait an additional 4 weeks to start your claim.
