What is a legal temp. for HID headlights here in CA?
I have HID headlight housings so no problem with that. I'm chosing between 5k, 6k, or 8k. I don't want to be attracting cops so which is a safe temperature. Thanks!!!

Anything over 5000K are not 100% legal. A Cop could cite you, and the Judge could agree.
Do you want the lights for show or for performance? Anything over 5000K has less usable light.
Personally, I want the best light for me to see -- 4300K

i will go to with 6000k which is a nice white with blue tint to it.
