Dreams feeling real/predicting future events?
Has anyone ever felt that when they dream it gets real? For example, I dreamed of my story and I'm in a rooftop. The only hitch is, I'm falling. When I woke up from the dream, I felt shocked and felt like something is forcing my body down and pressing my body like I'm really falling, while I was just lying on the bed. Another example is when I dreamed that I met my old friend again, and the next day I did. Is there a symptom or something that cause this to happen, and is it common?

I don't know about dreams predicting future events, but I've had dreams representing current events in my life.
Years ago I did a HUGE clean-up of my room, and attempted to correct bad habits that have been around since forever. That night, I had a dream about a disgusting toilet. All the nastiest things you could possibly imagine (hair, cigarette butts, feces, urine, blood etc.) was clogging up the plumbing. So I took out a toilet brush and set to scrubbing that thing. Some time passed, and when I stepped back to look at it again the toilet was sparkling clean. So clean that I was tempted to eat off it. At least, that was the thought I remember going through my mind at the time. This dream, as odd as some of it might sound pretty much meant that I was doing some major cleaning-up. Of my life, among other things. At least, this seemed like the most logical explanation.
Far as dreams where you're falling for some reason, I think that can be interpreted as a lack of control. Control in some aspect of your life that you've perhaps no influence over, and therefore can't do anything about.
That paralyzing feeling that you get upon waking though? People have been talking about that all throughout history. Some believe it's a demon or malevolent spirit sitting on your chest. I've experienced that at one time or another, and pretty much chalked it up to bad diet, or something biological.
Don't worry about it though. Interpretation or not I've also had ridiculous dreams that made no sense one way or the other. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I to experienced something like this. I dreamed of a headless man with a chiseled body I could only see the body trying hard for me to help him, then later dreamed I married my cousins husband who I rarely see but know well and in the dream I felt her hurting inside my aunt told me she's ok she will learn To deal with her loss she doesn't hate you she will b ok in time but she was upset inside n crying 2 weeks later her husband was killed in Afghanistan the only thing that was messed up was his face his body was intact like my dream I had before I married him. I'm waiting to see of the third part comes true he gave me a ring in my dream after his death. My cousin said to us she's hoping they find his wedding ring. I told her let me know if it happens. I have no idea why this happens but sometimes dreams are trying to tell us something. I believe n god I'm not sure if u do and I won't b upset if u don't everyone has their own beliefs. I just think it was a sign from god.
