Hard Drive from one Xbox to another?
So my Xbox 360 malfunction, it gets the error e74. I have done a temporally solution, the towel trick for about a week. But this is only a temporally solution so I have to buy a new one. I have an Xbox 360 elite and I wonder if I buy a new Xbox can I use the old Hard Drive (memory unit) on the new one? And if that works are all my saved games, profiles and music on the new one then?

As the first answerer said, if it's a new Xbox (i.e the slim), the old hard drive won't fit on. It's not as easy as that. You need a transfer cable that plugs into the new console's USB, and latches onto the old hard drive, and transfers the data across. It will transfer pretty much everything except game installs, and a few other bits which can be redownloaded. You can buy transfer cables in shops now. Try amazon.co.uk (I assume you're in the UK) for a good deal. They really don't cost much. A few quid.
