i need help with this math problem.?
A local shelter is making boxes to hand out to families of evacuees from the hurricane. They have 3200 bottles of water, 800 boxes of pop tarts, 1200 packages of cheese crackers, 1200 bags of potato chips, and 2400 sandwiches. To be fair, they want to put the same contents into each gift box.
What is the greatest number of gift boxes that can be made with all of these materials without having any items left?
Can you please give me the answer and how you worked it out?
Thanks.

let's take out all the 0's and list the numbers: 32, 8, 12, 12, 24.
essentially they are asking for the highest common factor, which is 4
so it would be 400 boxes of 8, 2, 3, 3, and 6 items each.
you might also tell the shelter that pop tarts and potato chips would not be very healthy eating.
