What do you think of the new Yahoo Mail Format?
We have apparently been 'forced' to use the new Yahoo Mail format with no possibility of continuing to use older versions if we so wish.
I am wondering what subscriber think of this new format.
For my part I do believe that it has some very good features, for example it appears that we are allowed to manage our 'Trash' box and empty it as and when we like, rather than Yahoo automatically emptying it about every 24 hours. How many times have we sent an email to our trash box but found a couple of days later we needed to refer back to it only to find that Yahoo had discarded it.
A couple of things I find a pain is that it took me a while to get used to it and instead of being able to click the 'Back' button I have to click the 'Inbox' button which takes me back to the complete list of emails received.
Another problem I appear to have is that if I type an email address in the box but discover a typo I cannot simply highlight the address and amend it, I have to delete the whole address and retype it.
Your thoughts on the new Yahoo Email format will be appreciated.

Thank your for your answer.
I have disabled the 'Active Scripting' box but can see no prompt asking me if I want to switch back to Classic.
I felt sure it would be in much the same place as the old prompt used to be.
I am probably being a bit thick I know but can you tell me where the prompt is please?
BTW I use IE8 at the moment

NEW YAHOO! MAIL IS STILL UNSTABLE....IT WOULD BE BEST TO GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS VERSION OF YAHOO! MAIL...
To go back to YAHOO! MAIL CLASSIC...
Turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes".
If you don't know how to turn off Javascript...
For SAFARI: Open SETTINGS>click PREFERENCES>>click SECURITY>>Uncheck ENABLE JAVA and ENABLE JAVASCRIPT
IMPORTANT:Remember to RE-ENABLE JAVA and JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work.
For IE: Open TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS >> SECURITY. In security click "CUSTOM LEVEL" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section.
IMPORTANT:Remember to turn JAVASCRIPTING back ON when you are back in Mail Classic because without it some mail functions won't work.
For FIREFOX: Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in Yahoo! email in order to switch back... In the options, click (PERMANENT) to switch back to YAHOO! Classic. DO NOT click the "ONE TIME ONLY" option.
IMPORTANT: Turn JAVASCRIPT back ON once you have your "CLASSIC" account back.
PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE IF THIS SOLUTION WORKS BY CLICKING BEST ANSWER..THANKS

Since they left me no choice, I "adopted" the new format... The only think that really bothers me is that if I want to select a large portion of a mail and copy/paste it elsewhere, I always have to do it in several pieces, and it is very slow...

The older version was ok for me.. i wasn't having any problems with it.. You know every time i have to download new stuff, its costs me big time.. The internet does not provide you with what's needed.. can't use it much because its getting so expensive.. had to stop using the tv, as i don't use cable..
