Why do people always think that their way of fish keeping is the only way?

It seems everyone  acts like their experiences are the only ones and that they are always right. They mark down other people's personal experiences..i dont get it...its like ok this happend with my fish so it happend so why would you get marked down for speaking the truth? I wish i could elaborate on that a little more, its difficult to explain. I mean i get that everyone wants to be right but to mark someone down just because their experience in the hobby isnt the same as theirs..I dont understand that.

Could you be more specific?

Generally if someone has many years of successful experience, that gives them the impression that they must be doing something right.

There are plenty of ways to do things and undeniably, some are better than others.

1. there are often differences that come down to different ways of doing things, or different "systems"
2. there's differences that are all just opinion
3. and there's differences that are because someone has way more experience, 
4. or as you said, different experiences
5. and some people sound good, but are just talking crap. 
6. and some people who are very new to the hobby and answering questions they have no business pretending they know the answer to
7. and there's some who are very rude, but might be giving good advice

I completely get you.  I have a 20 gallon tank with two angels and people tell me that is bad.  Then some people have told me I can put in two more angels!  Fish are kinda like people.  They are all different and have different personalities.
