My mandevilla plant is losing all its leaves. Why and what can I do about it? I keep it in a pot.?

I live in south-central Texas and I bring the plant in when it gets cold. I fertilize it now and then with Miracle-grow. We've had a lot of rain this week and the soil is very damp.

Overwatering will cause leaf drop. Could be that simple.

It probably has a fungal infection. You can try repotting it and then spraying it heavily with a pepper tea (basically, 5 habaneros [or 8 cayennes] and a handful of cloves simmered in a gallon of water until it's reduced to a half gallon; coo, strain into a bottle and saturate stem/remaining leaves w/spray, use remaining tea to soak the soil.) Do not water it for a few days after it's been treated. The plant will be weak for a while, but keep it somewhere bright and humid and it should rebound. Avoid drafts and temp swings.

It needs full sun. Can only go down to 50 degrees.
