Does anyone know of a solidifying agent powder, similar to agar agar, that doesn't have a melting point?
Hello,
I'm looking for non-toxic food safe solidifying agent that gels similar to agar agar or gelatin and does not have a melting point, and is free from bacterial growth. Anyone?

Corn starch maybe?

You can (at least I can, and I'm in a relatively small city in North Western Ontario in Canada) find these types of things in a lot of bulk food stores, just look them in your phone book and give them a call.
