Russian lapel pin 1923 *TRANSLATION*?

I have acquired a lapel pin from a good friend, and it has kept me intrigued since it was given to me. ive tried searching all over the internet and for nothing...

DESCRIPTION:

rectangle design with wheat branches on either side.

Its surrounded in blue trim.the inside from top to bottom a red star above a Clarified "D" below that it reads : Год ocнoвaния

I would love is someone could help me... provide links if you can im interested in seeing things it has seen!!!

    Год ocнoвaния translates as year of founding, or establishment.

    The badge (pin) probably refers to the state emblem of the USSR, adopted in 1923.

    Edit - Found it! It is a Dynamo Sports Club badge. They were founded in 1923

    The red star and sheaves of wheat sound like the national emblem of the USSR, which was adopted in 1923. Is the "D" definitely a letter, or could it be a stylized hammer and sickle, which was part of the emblem?

    Not sure....but why not take a photo and provide a link. There are plenty of Russian people in the U-S..or ask the question in the International section.
