Is it normal for people to open more than one yahoo account?

It's cheating ... specifically, 'multiple-account pointgaming'.

Gather up as much evidence as you can and email it to:

y_answers_team@yahoo.com (missing 'e' is correct).

Include links to the profile pages of the users, and links to Q&A showing the pattern.

No your not the only one. Myself, and many many others I know have survived with ONE account. Shocking i know. haha. It bugs me too when I see gamers and cheaters.

Y! does allow multiples for the purpose having one to retain your privacy regarding Q's that would be otherwise embarrassing. But these accounts can never cross paths, or interact. If it's gamed on, used for voting, OR if the multiple accounts start asking identical questions (cut & paste) - then it's a clear violation and they stand to lose BOTH (or all) of the accounts once discovered.

When we signed up to use this site, we all had to agree to follow the Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service. Having more than on account per person is specifically prohibited in the ToS. You may have as many Yahoo accounts as you like, but only one Y!A account. Please report anyone you see with multiple accounts. It isn't allowed here, but this is a user-moderated site so another user has to report it.

I have multiple accounts but not to choose best answers or anything like that! I'm just always forgetting my passwords... You're not the only one who uses just one account for this, at least

Our points system is meant to reward the community members for sharing questions and answers, so creating multiple accounts or posting content for the sole purpose of gaining points or soliciting others for points is not permitted. Posting filler answers to a question in an effort to be first to answer, or copying and pasting other members' answers, are also forms of cheating

No, and using more than one account is point gaming and should be reported. No, there are many(like myself) with one account

I've only had and used one account for years.

guidelines or not..I know some "trusted users" who have dozens of accounts !!!
