Is Zimmerman Guilty? Why or why not?

OK, forget all the Lies that the Media has been telling, This is not about race. just take what facts have been presented, He was a Neighborhood Watchman, He say Martian walking around, did he racially profile him? IDK, maybe, but i don't think so. He followed him and called the cops, like he was suppose to, The dispatch advised him not to follow, but it was not an order, he could follow, he was NOT stalking because he caused no harm to Martian. What happened when he hung up with 911 and the police arriving is a blank, only thing we have is Zimmerman's story, a few witnesses and a few 911 calls. Martians mom stated it was an accident but retracted the statement because it could hurt the lawyers case, she knows it was an accident. the few witnesses are fuzzy, they don't know who the aggressor was. for all anyone knows Martian attacked Zimmerman, they fell rolled a few times, when the witness saw the happened to see Zimmerman on top, or Zimmerman saw Martian try to run and tackled him, they rolled around and during the roll around Zimmerman's head hit the pavement and he thought Martian was banging his head and pulled his gun. We don't know.

I know im gonna get some hate replies calling me racist but i believe with the evidence he should be found not guilty. What happened was a tragedy that could have been avoided if Zimmerman had stood down, but he didn't, which i feel was his choice, but didn't break any laws by continuing his pursuit. Does he deserve 25 to life for this, the Florida Min for a firearms 2nd degree is 25 yrs, for what happened? No. He had a permit for the gun, he was legally able to carry it. He did not break any laws in this case.

Another note, the family copy righted a few sayings recently, it has nothing to do with the case, that is a moral thing that I feel is wrong but its a family thing and its in her right to do it.

Also, their past is the past, Martian was caught with pot or pot residue, who cares, he was not a hardened drug dealer, he was 17, people experiment, its whatever. Zimmerman had some "violent" crimes, domestic violence and resisting arrest, but still has no connection with this case

Update:

@Ghetto A's: ummmm, he was not found guilty, he was charged. I thought all HS had Government classes, i guess not

Update 2:

@Alex Zimmerman said to the 911 operator he was "looking about", when i buy something im not "looking About" im walking to where im going, my take on looking about is he was looking around, kinda suspicious when there have been break ins reported. He also stated Martian was looking at him, then walking towards him with his hands in his waistband. that would get alot of people nervous. Also 911 did NOT order him to stop, they said "We dont need you to do that" if it was an order they would say Dont do it or Stop doing it. If you look at the video you see the cops looking at the back of his head and enhanced video shows a cut on the back of his head.

Let me put it this way, after the police investigated they didn't arrest Zimmerman, after the DA looked the investigation over he did not have Zimmerman arrested, meaning Zimmerman was not guilty. Then this muslim Hussein 0bama got behind the cry baby bet wetting liberals wearing hoods and screaming racist, and pushed the State DA into prosecuting this innocent man Zimmerman. If people can't see the atrocity in that then they will not understand this answer at all.

Now the BIG question, where are they going to find a jury of 12 people that has not heard about this case? It has been plastered all over every news source for the last 6 weeks. I doubt that there are 12 people in the whole US that hasn't at least heard about this case, and if they have heard, or read what these cry baby bed wetting liberal hoddies has been saying, Zimmerman is NOT going to get any kind of fair trial.

These racist liberal will not be satisfied until they have this Latino in prison for the rest of his life. One question in closing, If Martin had been white, and Zimmerman was black, do you really believe any of us would have even heard about it?

The "racial profiling" thing is not really applicable to an individual... You could say that Zimmerman may have a prejudice against blacks, but to racially profile would mean that he consistently targeted blacks at every opportunity.

With the limited amount of information available on the case it is hard to say what actually happened. And because of that the prosecution will have one hell of a time convincing a jury that Zimmerman is guilty. That whole pesky "reasonable doubt" thing may bar a 2nd degree murder conviction. Voluntary manslaughter, on the other hand, would probably be pretty wasy to convict.

And let's not forget the civil trail that will surely follow. The Martin family can and most likely will file for wrongful death in this case. In a civil matter the "reasonable doubt" clause is replaced with a "preponderance of evidence" clause. Which makes it much easier for a guilty charge.

But the media has already found Zimmerman guilty, just like they did for Casey Anthony, and the Duke lacross team.

    1. You don't know everything that happened that night

    2. Why did he have to call the cops for a kid walking back from getting his brother skittles and himself a pop?

    3. It was an order that he should not follow him

    4. Why would Trayvon attack him for no reason? (is this racial profiling?)

    5. Zimmerman did not have any injuries from what I saw on a police tape after the incident

    6. Zimmerman's paranoia led him to believe that Trayvon Martin was up to something bad (it's pretty obvious that it was because he was black)

I'm am not for any specific race but something like this that is so obvious, race was an issue.

Even I have been scared of black men before haha, when I was little I grew up in a city outside of Chicago called Rockford and I lived right next to the projects and the majority were black, a black man broke into our house and grabbed my mom. That kind of traumatized me, it's not really a race issue, it's more of remembering who did it. It's kind of like when a guy beats a dog and the dog is sent to a new owner, the dog is usually afraid of men more than women.

Guilty. But the only one who can truly judge him is God, so we'll leave it up to him.

I guarantee when it's late at night and raining you'd look around suspiciously too, at least I would. I honestly don't see the point in either of them attacking first, but since Zimmerman's still alive and had a gun and was the one who was suspicious, I'm just assuming that he was at fault but we truly don't know. I also heard crying from a boy who was yelling help in a call to the police from some witnesses, I don't think crying is and yelling for help is really an aggressive act so that's another clue that Zimmerman is guilty.

No matter what has been said now, it would have been a TOTAL different outcome if Zimmerman followed instructions "not to pursue" Trevon. This was strictly a self motivated case. The media would not known either one of them if Zimmerman followed instructions, that in it s self is a crime.

As we don't know the facts behind the case, it is hard to draw a conclusion.

The media has painted one picture and the "Special" prosecutor is looking for the next step in her career. President Obama is looking at November and does not really give a darn one way or the other.

16 other kids were killed that night, he has not said one thing about them.

Wait for the trial and see what the real evidence is.

One thing not reported by the press however. It took the mom three days to discover her beloved son was missing. There is more to this story than we are being told by MSNBC.

i've been following this case for a long time (as i live in central FL). i think he was in the wrong and should have at least be convicted on manslaughter. once he took it upon himself to go beyond the scope of watching and reporting he nullified the stand your ground law. I highly doubt that he was nice and respectful to Martin when he pursued him that night...considering how fired up he was on the phone with the 911 operator.

it looks like they will have a hard time proving what actually happened b/c the other party in the case is not alive to tell his story. i truly hope this sheds light on the FL gun laws b/c any wannabe cop can run around with pistol down here and it's nuts.

    I DON'T KNOW.

I'm pretty sure his trial will be televised. Until I see all the evidence, this is something will not decide on.

All I've hear about this is other people's one-sided opinions. It's kind of hard to say if he's guilty or not, if the information that I've received is biased. I live in South Florida and I've been following this for a while. When other people talk about this with me, I try to be as impartial as possible.

You mean Trayvon Martin not Martian. I would have ignored the error if it was spelled incorrectly a couple of times. But your whole statement --really? Zimmerman is harder to spell than Martin, but you still spelled it right. Anyways, there is to much conflicting stories coming for Zimmerman, so we need the courts to figure it out. The funny thing about being a neighborhood watchman is that he self appointed himself. The community did not get together and vote him as one. Further, he was renting in that community. So he really did not belong there either.

Has anyone asked what the young man was doing in a locked gate community where he didn't live? Correct me if I am wrong, but this has been reported, although it seems to have disappeared from news stories....I don't know if he is guilty of murder or not, but it does seem political at this point.

I have to wait to hear more details of what happened, unlike the new black panthers who put a bounty on his head, and who Eric Holder will do nothing about
