What is the most dramatic dying scene you have ever seen in a movie?

I think for me it is Carries mother in the 1976 film "Carrie"

The end of "30 days of night" vampire movie, and the end of the Stephen Kings "The Mist", dramatic because of what happens right after..

Yeah Carrie is a great example. The whole creepy abusive mother death is pretty intense.

    1) Optimus Prime in "Transformers: The Movie" (1986).

"One shall stand, one shall fall."

To this day, people still think it's Hot Rod's fault.

    2) Artax (the white horse in "Never Ending Story") drowning in the Swamp of Sadness.

    3) Boromir (in "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring")

"I would have followed you my brother, my captain, my king."

    4) Spock (in "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan")

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one."

    5) Old Yeller (in "Old Yeller")
