Blessed and Gifted are essentially the same. A clearer comparison might be between "Skilled" and "Talented".

For example, Floyd Mayweather is often considered Talented. However, I'd describe him as Skilled because his skills are life-learned. He has been doing this all his life and, in terms of boxing styles, he's the best at what he does. It's not likely that he would be as skilled if he started at a much later time in his life.

Now, if you look at Roy Jones Jr. His speed and blend of speed/power are uncanny. THAT is what you called Talent. It's something that Roy would have no matter when he started boxing. True, he's well learned and trained. However, you can not teach what he does in the ring.

Floyd Mayweather is probably boxing's greatest student. Roy Jones Jr. is it's most talented.

Back to Gifted and Blessed. Gifted is closer to Talented. It's when you just HAVE it and it's not always easy to explain. I can't tell you HOW Muhammad ALI was able to do the things he did in the ring. It's just something you can't teach and it's very difficult to train to fight against it.

    That is Gifted.

Blessed is nearly the same. The difference is that a person has a bit more control over what makes one Blessed. Floyd Mayweather is more Blessed than Gifted. I really don't think he was born with the skills he has. He was just fortunate enough to have great teachers and an early start. He deserves a great deal of the credit as well because he took what his dad and uncle taught him and made the very best of it. He really IS boxing's greatest student. For all his arrogance, he uses that to ensure that he wins time and again.

THAT is what you called Blessed. You tried something and it just worked out with little or no failure.

Nice query madhavi:) you recognize although these words sound synonimous but nonetheless there lies a "deep" change !! Happiness will also be determined of matters which would possibly not even be precious to our spiritual or psychological side like we may go out & have our favourite dish & clothes etc., we'd suppose pleased. However delight comes from a style of achievent, if we get excellent grades in studies we would get a positive feeling that says "difficult phrase paid off" now thats more worthwhile is not it ;p[ Now peace.... I feel it depends upon what attitude we adopt towads the "events" we do for "happiness" or either "pleasure", peace without a doubt exist in our self, it simply has to be determined by way of us. A man or woman of lack of know-how could think peace while a difficult worker would be strresed. It may be even oposite to that . So peace wants to located by us.
