The 60's Australian group The Groove.?
This group weren't around very long and had only a few hits. who were the writers of their hit song Simon Says. Not to be mixed up with the bubble gum song of the same name by 1910 Fruitgum Co. This is the aussie one from mid 60's.

The Groove's Australian hit version of "Simon Says" was a cover of a song written and originally recorded by The Isley Brothers (O'Kelly, Rudolph and Ronald). Their original was a minor hit..
