Do i need to replace my stock stereo if i put in a 200 watt amp?

Here's what I have in my 2009 Chevrolet aveo. Two 4in. Piooner tweeters in the front and 2 stock speakers in the back, Stock radio, and no amps.

I was thinking about replacing my speakers in the back to 6in. Speakers and putting in a 200 watt amp. Should I change out my radio too?

I really don't want to because if I put in an aftermarket radio in, I'm afraid I might increase my chances of getting my car broken into.

that is all with reference to the alternator. a chum of mine exchange into working his 18's off 2 10,000W Amps. He ended up basically including an alternator interior the front of his automobile. all of them run high quality.

You don't have to but you will need to use a LOC aka a Line Out Converter. It makes it so you can run rca wires to the amp for a signal.

Here are some of the better, yet inexpensive ones around
