Horses Fetlocks stocked up/puffy?

my Horse has a good sized pen where he can walk around but he mostly stands. i ride him almost everyday not hard but moderately. However I noticed that when i go to take him out sometimes his back fetlocks will be swollen. Not hot but just puffy. They don't bother him. Or other times it will be his front fetlocks. As soon as I ride I'm for a while the swelling goes down but the next day its back again what should i do?

You should talk to your vet because he could have sprained a tendon ect. This happened to my horse and it turned out he sprained his tendon

Same thing happens to my QH in the winter. He stays inside all night when it gets cold. The owner of the barn where I board him will just say nicely " get your horse movin ". I know immediatly what she means. Other than get your horse moving a few times a day, I'm not sure what else to do. This was a great question.

Ask your trainer or vet. He may just get "stocked up" from standing around when he isnt being ridden.
