Would I lose weight all over my body if I did this?

I previously asked a question on how to lose fat in my calves and inner thighs and someone answered:

cycling one hour a day for 9 weeks and this was their own experience. Would it help my overall weight as well?

Definitely, 1 hour of bicycle exercise a day for 9 weeks you should notice a big change at the end. Not only will you be burning fat, but you will be gaining a lot of muscle at the same time.

Building of the muscle helps with your B.M.R which is the rate at which you burn fat at a resting place. So sitting at the computer, the more muscle the more you will burn sitting down.

Personal opinion however, if you want to see even better results i would recommend running over cycling

Sure it would. As long as it makes your heart rate faster, it's a fat-burning workout
