Why do I only get 7.55Mbps after Virgin Media upgrade?
when I had up to 10 Mbps I had 9.66 Mbps now I have up to 20Mbps I only see 7.55Mbps on a speed check
On the speed check I am using speed is measured in Mb/s (megabits per second).

You should get an engineer to have a look, I did the same and they doubled my download speed.

You only see 7.55 MBps on the speed check. Notice the capital "B". That means bytes. Speed checkers use bytes. Your Virgin Media has 20 Mbps (little "b"). That means bits. Internet providers give their speed in bits.
One bit = eight bytes. So your 7.55 MBps = 60.4 Mbps. Yes, that's right. Your Internet is way faster than advertised. So is mine. My cable Internet is advertised at 20 Mbps, but I get 60 Mbps. Why? Because the advertised speed is the "guaranteed" speed. You usually get more speed that what is guaranteed.

that must be sooooooo slow! Call virgin media and get an engineer to come and sort it. I'm with virgin media and have 54Mbps!
